Face masks are mandatory at all Sydney Festival events for all patrons 13 years and older, in line with NSW Government regulations. A face mask is required at all times while inside foyers, theatres and outdoor venues, including during performances. Children 12 and under are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.

Seating will be on the grass, so please bring a picnic rug. 

Children aged 2 years and under are admitted for free, providing they do not occupy a seat. Children 3 years and over will require a ticket.

A strict lockout period applies. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Gates will open 30 mins prior to the performance time.

Vaucluse House is an outdoor venue.

Robbie Curtis is the Founder and Artistic Director of Arccircus company and is the Creator and Director of ABee Story. Robbie is an Australian performer and choreographer who has worked extensively for over ten years nationally and internationally, performing, teaching, and choreographing.  Robbie  has  worked  for  companies  including  Cirque  du  Soleil,  Circa,  Circus  Oz, Legs on the Wall, Cirque de Paname, Australian Ballet, Australian Opera, Theatre of Image, Shaun Parker Co.,and  Footnote dance  company.  He  is  internationally  recognised  for his  unique  style mixing  dance  and  circus,  and  has  been  an  artistic  consultant at  the  National  Institute of  Circus Arts. He has performed in notable theatres around the world, including Barbican, Sadler's Wells, BAM, TeatreGrec, The Sydney Opera House, and Arts Centre Melbourne, and he has performed at every major Australian Festival. He has also taught extensively at a tertiary level.

Lizzie McRae is the co-creator of A Bee Storyandis a musician and comedian. She has taught all levels  of flute  andplays  piccolo  and  saxophone.  Lizzie  is  a  juggler,  clown,  and  also  serves  as General Manager of Arc circus company. Lizzie holds both a Bachelors and a Master’s degree from the  University  of  Sydney,  and  she  has  worked  in  management  all  over  the  world,  including Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Myanmar, Indonesia, Japan, the UK, and the USA. She is passionate about entertaining and empowering kids, and in between being the Queen Bee in A Bee Story, is currentlythe Executive Director of Iraqi Children Foundation.
