The resident party-starters for the Festival Garden at Sydney Festival 2019, The Dollar Bin Darlings and their rainbow coloured, boiler-suit clad dance squad are here to disco you right back to the pre-pandemic good times.
Keeping us entertained in lockdown with his livestreamed Doomsday Disco sets, Aunty Jonny is primed to set the Marly’s DF alight with stacks of fabulous, fruity disco cuts hand-selected from the record store dollar bin.
Bring your squad, your best shoes, best beat-face and, if possible, a costume reveal because, as The Dollar Bin Darlings told The Sydney Morning Herald, they’re all about “creating a space where anyone can ‘’give it a red-hot go and lose your inhibitions’’.”
Sat 16 Jan at 8pm
Face masks are mandatory at all Sydney Festival events for all patrons 13 years and older, in line with NSW Government regulations. A face mask is required at all times while inside foyers, theatres and outdoor venues, including during performances.
