Australian Design Centre (ADC) is an independent contemporary craft and design organisation igniting creative ideas and building cultural vibrancy.
Located in Sydney’s Darlinghurst, ADC produces up to 20 exhibitions and over 100 events each year in the Centre, along with a city-wide festival Sydney Craft Week. The Centre also has a shop (Object Shop) that sells the work of over 100 local makers.
COVIDSAFE PROCEDURES
Face masks are mandatory at all Sydney Festival events for all patrons 13 years and older, in line with NSW Government regulations. A face mask is required at all times while inside foyers, theatres and outdoor venues, including during performances. Children 12 and under are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.

There is a ramp at the main entrance of the ADC (Palmer St) and wheelchair-accessible toilet on the lower gallery level.
Access to the lower level is through a separate entrance off William Street.
ADC has an accessible bathroom located in Gallery 2.
Getting TherePARKING
There is one hour metered street parking on Williams St or 2 hour metered parking in Barnett Lane and Palmer Street just behind our gallery. If you want paid parking for a full day or longer visit, the closest two parking stations are: 70 Riley Street and 46 -48 Riley St, Darlinghurst.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Our closest train stations are Kings Cross with a 650 meter walk down William St or Museum Station with a 950 meter walk.
Many buses pass us on William St, try 200, 324 or 325 bus routes or take an Oxford St bus and walk about 10 minutes through charming Darlinghurst.
