Home to
Sydney Festival events for many years, Riverside Theatres comprises three theatre spaces and is located on the banks of the river in Parramatta.
The Riverside is the largest space within the venue, and boasts a traditional
proscenium arch, 761 seat theatre venue with stalls, circle and gallery levels.
The Lennox is a flexible, multi-use
performance space with a standard configuration allowing for 213 seats. Raffertys
Theatre is the smallest with 88 seats.
COVIDSAFE PROCEDURES
Face masks are mandatory at all Sydney Festival events for all patrons 13 years and older, in line with NSW Government regulations. A face mask is required at all times while inside foyers, theatres and outdoor venues, including during performances. Children 12 and under are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.

We continue to closely monitor and adhere to the regulations and advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health and in accordance with NSW Government guidelines. Our COVID Safe plans will continue to evolve as the health advice changes.
ENTRY AND PARKING
Riverside offers very limited, pre-booked parking for patrons with an Accessible Parking Permit.
Level access from Church Street leads directly into the foyers and through to all spaces and facilities.
INSIDE THE VENUE
Riverside offers level access and space for wheelchairs in all venues.
Accessible toilet facilities are located at either end of the foyer.
Riverside has installed hearing systems in all three theatres. Patrons can choose from a single ear earpiece a neck loop attached to their own hearing aid or their own headphones, to amplify the sound from the stage. This system is adaptable for people with all types of hearing loss. To access this free service, please pre-book the hearing system when you book your tickets.
Church Street is currently closed to general traffic between Market & Macquarie Streets, to allow for Parramatta Light Rail works. Eat Street restaurants and cafes are still open and serving delicious food and drinks. If driving, you may wish to allow extra time to reach the venue.
