Waywards, located upstairs at Bank Hotel is just a stones throw from Newtown Station. The 250 pax room was recently refurbished and ready to party. Waywards rocks a 5am license and a killer PA. The venue is suitable for everything from nightclubs to EP launches, drag shows and everything in between.

COVIDSAFE Procedures

Face masks are mandatory at all Sydney Festival events for all patrons 13 years and older, in line with NSW Government regulations. A face mask is required at all times while inside foyers, theatres and outdoor venues, including during performances. Children 12 and under are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.

Waywards is a COVID safe venue. The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:

Tickets will need to be pre-purchased to avoid queuing on the night
Hand sanitiser dispensers on entry and at tables
Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Accessibility

ACCESS

There is lift access to all levels and a disabled bathroom. Support animals are always welcome.

Waywards is located in the centre of King Street, right next to Newtown train station

PARKING
Street parking is limited, but available in surrounding streets.
