Ground yourself in the morning sun as you meditate with contemporary artist Lindy Lee, in a session led by mindfulness meditation teacher Patrick Kearney, outside the MCA on the Tallawoladah Lawn overlooking Sydney Harbour.
Having studied and practised mediation and Buddhist philosophy for over 20 years, mindfulness and meditation have become key influences on Lee’s work.
A Meditation teacher will guide you through the art of awareness, with a series of meditation. Through a practice of mindfulness, you will learn how to acknowledge the radical presence of life and reconnect with the sensory world.
At the end of the meditation session, Lindy Lee will speak about her artwork, Secret World of a Starlight Ember, and the meaning of mindfulness in her art practice.
No prior experience necessary. COVID-19 health and safety measures will be in place.
