Katie Noonan, Christine Anu, Suze DeMarchi, Emily Wurramara

Don Walker is one of Australia’s greatest musical legends, best known as the main songwriter for Cold Chisel. Katie Noonan, Christine Anu, Suze DeMarchi and Emily Wurramara join forces to perform some of his most iconic songs at The Crescent, Parramatta Park.

A Sydney Festival premiere, Songs of Don draws inspiration from the musical storyteller behind such memorable classics as Khe Sanh, Saturday Night, Cheap Wine and Standing on the Outside.

Walker, the author of two critically acclaimed books, has spent some forty years capturing what it is to be Australian through music, whether with Cold Chisel, Tex, Don and Charlie or in his solo work.

Taking place under the stars at Parramatta, this star-studded tribute to an icon of Australian music is performed alongside a first-rate band, consisting of Jess Green on guitars, David Symes on bass and Felix Bloxsom on drums.
