Newtown Neighbourhood Centre exists to create a more inclusive, resilient, vibrant and self-reliant community.

The iconic building on the corner of King Street plays host to social programmes, community meetings  and events of all kinds.  

COVIDSAFE Procedures

Face masks are mandatory at all Sydney Festival events for all patrons 13 years and older, in line with NSW Government regulations. A face mask is required at all times while inside foyers, theatres and outdoor venues, including during performances. Children 12 and under are exempt but are encouraged to wear masks where practicable.

Newtown Neighbourhood Centre is a COVID-safe venue, and will be taking the following precautions: 

• All spaces have hand sanitiser, and are disinfected between each session. 
• All visitors must provide their contact details by scanning the QR code provided at the entrance to the Centre and available on the door to all rooms. 
• NNC has a comprehensive  COVID-19 Safety Plan in effect for your protection. 
• Please do not attend this event if you have been to a  currently restricted areas/hotspots, including anybody who is subject to any current quarantining rules related to travel (international and domestic) or venues visited.
• Please do not attend if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
• You must abide by current social distancing guidelines at all times while within the venue.
