Produced by The People of Cabaret and Darlinghurst Theatre Company, they aren’t here to throw shade; they’re here to celebrate every shade with a cabaret gala starring local performers of colour.
The People of Cabaret’s mission is to build a performing arts scene where people of colour are valued uplifted and celebrated – not fetishised, exotified or objectified.
Multi-instrumentalist and composer Victoria Falconer hosts The People of Cabaret: No Shade? All Shades, with a roster of special guests spanning sparkly cabaret, burlesque and circus performance. Expect fabulousness and diversity, henny.
